W.R.A.C. has a lot to offer patrons visiting Banner Elk, NC!  One of our goals when opening for family business was to share our love of the High Country. Along this page we will share some of our favorite businesses in the area to help plan your visit.

Wilderness Run currently has THREE exciting venues.  The Alpine Coaster is open year round and 7 days a week, and offers a thrilling experience for all ages.  The Adventure Course offers a unique climbing experience which is self-guided through 28 obstacles.  Each of these venues offer gift shops and snacks.  The Alpine Coaster also has a specialty coffee shop which offers pastries and other goodies.

Under the Adventure Course Shop, you will find our next installment.

High Country Pie Company opened in 2025 offering savory meat pies (and some non-meat varieties), breakfast pies, soups, fresh sides and a large variety of pastries, cakes and other sweets!  Our kitchen makes our pies with the freshest ingredients from scratch. This is true High Country Home Cooking!
