Wilderness Run is a family owned and operated buisness and we treate our employees as family! Below is a list of duties that you will be asked to perform for each postion open! We also cross train positons as well!
Attendant Job Description
1. Loading and Unloading customers. Positions outside (on the line) include:
a. Loading
b. Mid Loading
c. Cameras
d. Start Belt (21 years old and up)
e. Tree House (upper observation)
f. End Belt (Exit)
2. Startup/Shut down of the coaster
3. Opening/Closing of the Retail Shop
4. Opening/Closing of the Coffee Shop
5. Interacting with customers in a friendly and courteous way.
6. Ensuring all safety requirements are met.
7. Willingness to work in all weather conditions in an outdoor oriented business.
8. Willingness to work inside as needed to cover for Retail Associates. Restock as
necessary.
9. Cleaning of all areas of the property to include:
a. The Sled Shed
b. Bathrooms
c. Retail Space
d. The property around the Coaster
e. Parking lots
f. Any area required by the Team Leaders, Managers and Owners
10. Communicating with the Team Leaders, General Manager, and the Owners about potential team issues and any safety issues.

Cashier Job Description
A Retail Associate is responsible for assisting customers with ticket purchases, ride questions, general retail, merchandise questions and answers, restocking items in the retail space, sweeping, mopping, and bathroom cleaning as needed. Wilderness Run, Alpine Coaster’s L.L.C.
​
Retail Associate responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Customer Service – The Retail Associate will greet customers as they enter the business and assist customers by providing recommendation and answering questions.
2. Utilize POS systems for sales of coaster tickets, retail items, and potential returns as necessary.
3. Sale of video and camera options.
4. Be prepared to greet guests in the parking lot and assist with parking of the guests.
5. Encouraging customers to ride, purchase retail product items, and expanding sales
revenue by up-selling tickets and products.
6. Coordinating with other associates, team leaders, managers, and the owners to foster
and exchange ideas and partake in cross-team learning opportunities.
7. Collaborate with other team members to keep the sales floor area clean and organized
at all times.
8. Assessing day to day operations and look for ways to maximize sales.
9. Communicating with team leaders and managers about any safety and security issues.
As a Wilderness Run, Alpine Coaster Retail Associate you will be expected to perform a critical customer service and sales function for the company. You will be in direct contact with customers throughout your shift. You will correct minor POS and ticket printer issues, interact with customers, and be prepared to assist others in their duties. Additionally, you will monitor and ensure all safety concerns are addressed immediately.

Barista Job Description
Barista responsibilities include educating customers on our drinks menu, making recommendations based on their preferences, up-selling special items and taking orders. To be successful in this role, you should have customer service skills and knowledge of how brewing equipment operates. You should be able to work various shifts. Note: this position’s compensation includes salary and tips. Ultimately, you’ll ensure an excellent drinking experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Greet customers as they enter

Give customers drink menus and answer their questions regarding ingredients

Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preferences of coffee blend, dairy and sugar ratios)

Prepare beverages following recipes

Serve beverages and prepared food, like cookies, pastries and muffins

Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards)

Keep the bar area clean
-
Maintain stock of all items
-
Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs

Comply with health and safety regulations
-
Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items

Rope Job description
** SEASONAL JOB ** May-October**
​
Guide Requirements:
-
40 hours of operator training is required and the precursor to testing. (Training is provided) Comfortable being in close proximity with people of all ages and genders.
-
GREAT!!! communication and customer service skills.
-
Must be willing to work at heights of 15’ (4.6 m), or more, for extended periods of time.
-
Capable of bending, stooping, climbing, and standing for long periods of time.
-
Able to assess the difference between a medical emergency and non-emergency incidence for the purposes of the emergency take down procedures.
-
Able to appropriately size and outfit participants in harnesses.
-
Demonstrate complete understanding of harness components.
-
Must be 17 years or older to operate all levels and positions.
-
Knowledge and ability to inspect all safety equipment and understand when someone is unsafe.
-
Perform general maintenance / clean up duties.
-
Basic understanding of computers and willingness to learn.
-
Opening / closing of a cash drawer and the ability to run a register.
-
Successful completion of written, practical and knot testing.

Starting pay is $10.50 and after 90 days employees will be enrolled into medical and dental care that we pay! Optyions for pay increase and bonuses will be discussed at interveiw!
